Nattukku Oru Nallavan
Nattukku Oru Nallavan (English: Good man for the country) is a 1991 Tamil language action film written, produced and directed by V. Ravichandran and also produced by N. Veersamai.[1] The film was simultaneously released in Kannada and Telugu under the Shanti Kranti title in 1991. Akkineni Nagarjuna was the lead in Shanti Kranti Telugu version & V. Ravichandran was the lead in Shanti Kranti Kannada version, while Rajinikanth was in the lead in the Tamil version. The film was partially re-shot in Hindi as Shanti Kranti with a slightly different cast.

Despite a simultaneous Telugu film Shanti Kranti, the film was dubbed in Telugu as Police Bullet.[2] Incidentally, all the versions failed at the box-office and Ravichandran incurred huge losses.[3] The film marked the debut of popular Kannada actor Anant Nag in Tamil cinema as main antagonist. The music was composed by Hamsalekha.[4] The film also starring Juhi Chawla, Kushboo, Jaishankar, Janagaraj and Manorama among others was released in 1991.
Plot
Nattukku Oru Nallavan is the story of an honest police officer (Rajinikanth) and his fight against a dreaded criminal named Daddy (Anant Nag) who indulges in organ transplant mafia.

Production
V. Ravichandran announced that Shanti Kranti will be an expensive project in his career. He decided to direct in four languages — Kannada, Tamil, Telugu,and Hindi. Tamil version was titled Naattukku Oru Nallavan. Ravichandran played the lead role in Kannada version, he played Ramesh Aravind's character in Tamil and Telugu versions. Rajinikanth and Nagarjuna were the lead actors in Tamil and Telugu versions.
Release
All the four versions of the film became a failure in box office but Rajini was appreciated by the film fraternity. In spite of his busy schedule, he agreed to act for the good relationship he had with Veeraswami.
