Narasimhudu
Narasimhudu is a Telugu action masala film released on 20 May 2005 and was directed by B. Gopal. The film features Jr. NTR, Amisha Patel, and Sameera Reddy in the lead roles. The film which the production started in 2004 ended in 2005, and was kept on being postponed. The release of the movie was delayed due to the over budget.Narasimhudu had incredible openings on the first day of release. The film received negative reviews and went on to be a box office failure for both Jr NTR and B. Gopal.On May 22,2005 The film producer, who is also a Telugu Desam MLA, tried to kill himself today by jumping into the Hussain Sagar lake before the eyes of his family after a dispute with film Distributors over movie failure. [1]This film was later dubbed in Hindi as The Power Of Narasimha. The movie is a remake of 2004 Kannada movie Durgi directed by P. Ravi Shankar.[2]

Plot
Narasimhudu (NTR)'s parents die at a young age and he is adopted by the villagers of Kondaveedu, who all take up the responsibility of bringing him up. The sons of JD (Puneet Issar) and Pothuraju (Kalabhavan Mani) rape an 11-year-old in the village. Narasimhudu who is also the caretaker of the village, vows to take revenge on the big people and their sons for committing the heinous crime. The rest is how Narasimhudu kills them.

Music Was composed by Mani Sharma and released on Aditya Music Company. Audio was launched on 23 April 2005 at a grand Function held at Taj Residency, Hyderabad. N. Chandrababu Naidu V. V. Vinayak and many other celebrities attended the function.[3]
