Nan Wood Graham
Nan Wood Graham (July 26, 1899 – December 14, 1990) was the sister of painter Grant Wood.[1] She is best known as the model for the woman in her brother's most famous painting, American Gothic (1930).[1] She married real estate investor Edward Graham,[1] and spent the rest of her life as a historian for her brother's work. She died at a nursing home at the age of 91.[1]
