Nadarang

"Nadarang" (transl."Enamored" [or] "Attracted") is the debut single and first published song recorded by Filipino rapper Shanti Dope. The song was written by Shanti and his uncle Lester Vaño (also known as Klumcee). It was released in 2017 by Universal Records as Shanti's debut single and the lead single from his eponymous debut album. The song follows the temptations felt by a person in life and love.[1]

Cover versions

Filipino cover band Agsunta uploaded a video in their YouTube Channel with the band performing Nadarang into their #AgsuntaJamSessions. They performed the song featuring JRoa. As of October 10, 2019, the video has more 54 million views.

On the third season of Tawag ng Tanghalan sa Showtime, eventual grand champion Elaine Duran performed an ethnic pop-rock arrangement of the song during Ang Huling Tapatan (Grand Finals) of the competition. Duran was one of those who arranged and thought of making the song an ethnic and pop-rock.[2][3]

Jelo Acosta sang his own version of the song during his blind auditions when he joined The Voice Teens.
