Na'ameh
Na'ameh (Arabic: الناعمة) or Haret en Naameh (Arabic: حارة الناعمة) is a Lebanese coastal town which is located in Chouf District, an administrative division of Mount Lebanon Governorate.[1] Naameh was the site of protests regarding waste disposal in 2014.
Currently the region hosts a minority of Christian Maronites and Druze of about 4000 in Naameh and a majority of Sunni Muslims with a large population of 25,000 Lebanese and a lot of Syrian refugees in Haret en Naameh.
Common families: Mezher, Matar, Fakhreddin, Chahin, Khoure, Atwe, Hammoud, Hatoum, hamze.
