Murchison, KwaZulu-Natal
Murchison is a rural community about 13 km (8.1 mi) west of Port Shepstone, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. It situated in the KwaZulu-Natal's South Coast and is governed by the Ray Nkonyeni Local Municipality.[2]

Public Facilities
Murchison is also known for its district hospital which is government owned and serves the rural area around it like Boboyi, KwaNyandezulu and Paddock amongst other areas.[3]
N2 Route
It is situated along the N2 national road between Port Shepstone and Izingolweni. The route gives direct access to major cities such as Durban, East London, Port Elizabeth and Cape Town and large towns such as Mthatha, Kokstad, Port Shepstone and Richards Bay.
