The school colors are green and white. The school opened in 1911 and celebrated its centennial year in 2011.[2] MCHS was rated as a Bronze Medal School in the 2015 U.S. News & World Report "Best High Schools" rankings.[3]
Sports
The school has won state championships in football (1913, 1922, 1923, 1957),[4][5][6][7] baseball (1973),[8] cross country (1974),[9] and softball (1984).[10]
