Montane bamboo rat

The montane bamboo rat or Peruvian bamboo rat (Dactylomys peruanus), is a species of rodent in the family Echimyidae.[2] It is found in Bolivia and Peru. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
