Mohamed El Makrini

Mohamed El Makrini (born 6 July 1987 in Utrecht) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Scottish Premiership club Kilmarnock. He formerly played for FC Den Bosch, SC Cambuur, OB and Roda JC Kerkrade.

Career

El Makrini began his career at FC Den Bosch, and in August 2011, signed for SC Cambuur.[1]

On 1 July 2015, El Makrini moved to Danish Superliga club OB, signing a two-year contract.[2]

He returned to Dutch football on 30 January 2017, signing for Roda JC Kerkrade.[3]

On 9 July 2019, El Makrini moved to Scottish Premiership club Kilmarnock on a one-year contract.[4] He scored his first goal for the club on 14 September 2019, in a 2–0 home win against Hibernian.[5]
