Mogul (film)

Mogul is an upcoming Indian biographical film. It is directed by Subhash Kapoor and produced by Bhushan Kumar and Aamir Khan under the banners of T-Series and Aamir Khan Productions. The film follows the life of the mogul Gulshan Kumar who was founder of the T-Series music label (Super Cassettes Industries Ltd.), and a Bollywood film producer. Khan stars as Kumar in the film.

Akshay Kumar was initially cast as Gulshan Kumar,[1][2] but he quit the film.[3] Later, Aamir Khan was cast as the lead.[4] In October 2018, amid molestation allegations against Subhash Kapoor, Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao who were the co-producers of the film decided to quit the project.[5] Producer Bhushan Kumar then dropped Kapoor from the project. Then, ultimately Khan agreed to do film[6][3] The film will be directed by Subhash Kapoor.[7]
