History

The settlement was founded in 1923 under the name Stergres (Russian: Штергрэс)[1].

In 1938 Stergres got the official status of an urban-type settlement[1].

In 1965 the urban-type settlement of Stergres and the village of Novopavlovka were merged, and the city of Miusynsk was established.[1].

Starting Mid-April 2014 Miusynsk was controlled by the Luhansk People's Republic and not by Ukrainian authorities.[3][4]

gollark: ANTARCTIC OBSCURITY is theoretically capable of localization if you have multiple receivers with either very accurate synchronized clocks (doubtful) or (if you don't mind noise and/or manual data gathering) signal strength readings.
