Minami-Hanyū Station

Minami-Hanyū Station (南羽生駅, Minami-Hanyū-eki) is a railway station on the Tobu Isesaki Line in Hanyū, Saitama, Japan, operated by the private railway operator Tobu Railway.

History

The station in 2007, before rebuilding

The station opened on 13 September 1903 as Sukage Station (須影駅).[1] It closed 15 August 1908, and reopened on 1 April 1927.[1] It was renamed Minami-Hanyū Station on 1 September 1968.[1]

From 17 March 2012, station numbering was introduced on all Tobu lines, with Minami-Hanyū Station becoming "TI-06".[2]

In fiscal 2014, the station was used by an average of 3,775 passengers daily.[3]
