Milejczyce
Milejczyce [mʲilɛi̯ˈt͡ʂɨt͡sɛ] (Belarusian: Мілейчыцы, Podlachian: Miliêčyčy, Ukrainian: Милейчичі Mylejchychi) is a village in Siemiatycze County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland.[1] It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Milejczyce. It lies approximately 21 kilometres (13 mi) north-east of Siemiatycze and 67 km (42 mi) south of the regional capital Białystok.

According to the 1921 census, the village was inhabited by 1.180 people, among whom 32 were Roman Catholic, 500 Orthodox, and 648 Mosaic. At the same time, 499 inhabitants declared Polish nationality, 241 Belarusian and 440 Jewish. There were 224 residential buildings in the village.[2]
The village has a population of 1,100.
