Medrow (Nossendorf)
Medrow is a village in the municipality of Nossendorf in the countryside of Mecklenburgische Seenplatte in the northeast of Germany. About 150 people live here.
Geography
Medrow is north of the municipality of Nossendorf. Around the village are the forests "Spitzeck" and "Kronforrest". Near Medrow are three little rivers: Red Bridge River, Kronriver and Castleriver.
History
The village was founded in 1242 as "villam mederowe". It was a castle built by Slav settlers. Between 1648 and 1815, Medrow belonged to Sweden and Pomerania and was part of the municipality of Nehringen. In this time it was governed from the Sweden.

gollark: I currently just store stuff on my laptop, an old 1TB disk and a 240GB SSD with... well, some synchronization stuff on important data, that's basically all I have backupwise.
gollark: It's cool how cheap storage devices are, I must say. I can fit several seasons of TV shows, probably tens of movies, or tens of thousands of books on a cheap £8 USB stick.
gollark: There *still* doesn't seem to be a decent solution for one-off-ish file transfer over LANs between devices with different OSes.
gollark: I still have a USB stick around for use as a live USB and file transfer.
gollark: Or possibly 2D AR stuff eventually, if that ever takes off.
