Mecynometa
Mecynometa is a genus of long-jawed orb-weavers that was first described by Eugène Louis Simon in 1894.[2] As of October 2019 it contains three species, found in Africa, Brazil, and Guatemala: M. argyrosticta, M. gibbosa, and M. globosa.[1]
