Career

In 2018, Tomlin wrote the script for the Project Power (2020) for Netflix, starring Jamie Foxx and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.[1][2][3] He scripted and produced the film Little Fish (2020), based on a short story by Aja Gabel.[4] He gained attention in 2019 when he was brought onboard to co-write The Batman (2021) with Matt Reeves. The film is a reboot of the Batman film franchise and stars Robert Pattinson.[5][6] By January 2020, Tomlin was writing the television pilot for an adaption of the comic book series Fear Agent, and a film adaption of the comic book series Memetic for Lionsgate. Both projects will be produced by Seth Rogen's Point Grey Pictures.[7][8] He is also writing a film adaption of the video game character Mega Man for 20th Century Studios.[7][8] In May 2020, Tomlin sold a spec script, titled 2084, to Paramount Pictures.[9]
