Masjid Al-Amin
The Al-Amin Mosque (Malay: Masjid Al-Amin) is a mosque in Singapore.
Inspired by Sumatran Minangkabau architecture, this mosque with its red-brick exterior walls, stands out from the high-rise housing estate in Telok Blangah, at the junction of Telok Blangah Way and Telok Blangah Rise. Located at the Central District, it was built in 1991 with resources from the Mosque Building Fund. With a capacity of 3,000, the mosque offers weekend madrasah and weekday classes to a total of 600 children. Islamic knowledge classes are also held during the evening.
Transportation
The mosque is accessible from Telok Blangah MRT station.
