Mashiur Rahman (adviser)
Mashiur Rahman is a Bangladesh Awami League politician and the Economic Affairs Adviser to the Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina.[1][2]

Career
Rahman has voiced support for Rampal Power Plant in the Sundarbans.[3] He is the incumbent Economic Affairs Adviser to the Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina.[4] He was the chief election commissioner in the Awami League council elections in October 2016.[5] He was accused of being involved in the Padma Bridge Scandal.[6] He was appointed to an adviser post in 2014 with the rank of a minister.[7]
