Maidaan is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language biographical sports film directed by Amit Ravindrenath Sharma and jointly produced by Zee Studios, Boney Kapoor, Arunava Joy Sengupta and Akash Chawla. The film features Ajay Devgn and Priyamani in the lead roles.

The principal photography began on 19 August 2019.[2] The film will tell the story of golden era of Indian football 1952-1962.[3][4]
The film is scheduled for release on 13 August 2021.[1]
