Madhuca crassipes

Madhuca crassipes is a plant in the family Sapotaceae. It grows as a tree up to 40 metres (130 ft) tall, with a trunk diameter of up to 70 centimetres (28 in). The bark is brown, mottled grey. Inflorescences bear up to 10 flowers which are fragrant and cream-coloured. The specific epithet crassipes is from the Latin meaning "thick foot or stalk", referring to the fruit stalk. Its habitat is swamps and forests from sea level to 1,000 metres (3,300 ft) altitude. M. crassipes is found in Sumatra and Borneo.[2]
