Madan Mohan Mittal
Madan Mohan Mittal (born 31 July 1935) is an Indian politician and a leader of Bharatiya Janata Party in Punjab. He served as the Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Health & Family Welfare and Social Security & Development of Women & Children in the government headed by Parkash Singh Badal. Punjab Government.[1] He is member of Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP).[2]

Works
Mittal laid the foundation stone for Gopal Goshala under the banner of Guru Ramana Maharshi Gramin Vikas Sanstha on 25 July 2015. He gave an hour long lecture to the residents of village Dadhi and urged them to support this noble cause. Dr. Rattan Chand also supported this noble cause and thanked Mr. Mittal for making time for the event. Mr. Mittal said that it is an important event keeping in mind the number of stray cows that need shelter in and around this village.[3]
Early life
He was born in Kinnaur, Punjab on 17 March 1939. His father's name is Ram Saroop Mittal and mother's name Leelawati Mittal .
Profession
He is a lawyer by profession.[4]
Political career
He successfully contented election from Nangal in 1992 as a BJP candidate.[5] In 1997, he was re-elected from Nangal.[6] In 2012, and he successfully contested from Anandpur Sahib.[7] Also, he was cabinet minister and holding portfolio of Parliamentary Affairs, Health & Family Welfare and Social Security & Development of Women & Children.[1]
