M7 road (Johannesburg)
M7 is a metropolitan route in the Greater Johannesburg metropolitan area. The road connects Thokoza and the southern suburbs of Alberton with suburbs to the west of the Johannesburg CBD.

Route
The southern terminus begins as t-junction with the M61 Vereeniging Road on the outskirts of Thokoza. The M7 heads north-west as Kliprivier Road, intersecting the R59 in Braken Downs. The road continues north-west intersecting Swartkoppies Roads near Mulbarton. Heading north, it passes the Klipriviersberg Nature Reserve to its west and Glenvista to its east. Entering Glenanda, it intersects and crosses the M68 Columbine and Vorster Avenues and after about 300 m, intersects with the N12 Southern Bypass in Winchester Hills. Passing under the M38 Rifle Range Road, it continues north passing between the suburbs of Robertsham and Turffontein, Johannesburg's southern suburbs. Kliprivier Road ends in Booysens as a t-junction with Booysens Road. The M7 turns right is briefly co-signed with the M27 as Booysens Road before turning left after 400 m into Long Street. After 300 m it turns left into Ophir-Booysens Road and right into Ophir Road then left into Treu Road continuing north out of Booysens.
It briefly follows the M1 North before crossing underneath it close to the Crown Interchange before winding northwards to an intersection with the R41 Main Reef Road. It now enters the western suburbs next to the Johannesburg CBD entering Mayfair as Park Drive where it intersects and crosses the R24 Central Avenue and Albertina Sisulu Road. Crossing over this road, it enters Fordsburg and after 180 m turns right into 6th Avenue and then left into Mint Road where it t-junctions with Subway and Carr Street after 350 m. It turns left into Subway Street heading north crossing under railway lines before ending in a t-junction with M10 Smit Street. Turning right into Smit Street it is briefly co-signed with the M10 before turning left into Solomon Street in Vrededorp that becomes Annet Road in Cottesloe, passing the University of Johannesburg's Bunting Road Campus before ending at an intersection with the M71 Barry Hertzog Avenue.
