Luis José Vallenilla Pacheco (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈlujz βaʎeˈniʎa], born 13 March 1974) is a Venezuelan professional footballer that currently plays as a centre back.

He is the current captain of his team, having also spells in the old continent, Argentina and Ecuador.
International career
Vallenilla made 77 caps for the Venezuela national football team, scoring a goal. Vallenilla left the national team when arrived the coach César Farías in the charge, who not considered to the player for the qualifier games road to the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
