Biography

Tavares was born and raised in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. His parents came from Cape Verde. He played youth football for Sparta Rotterdam, where played together with Georgino Wijnaldum, Lerin Duarte and Garry Rodrigues but later switched to kickboxing.[2]
