Lorwood, Missouri

Lorwood is an unincorporated community in New Madrid County, in the U.S. state of Missouri.[1]

Etymology

A variant name was "Grayson".[1] The present name is a portmanteau derived from Lorain and Wood counties, Ohio, the native homes of three local businessmen.[2]
