History

Established in its current form in 1908, the history of the department can be traced back to the creation of the W. A. Buckingham Hook & Ladder Company in 1879.[3]

Longmont Fire Department Station 1

The Longmont Fire Department Station 1 is listed in the National Register of Historic Place.

Built in 1907 and used by the department until 1971, Station 1 is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.[4]
