Lokesh Kanagaraj

Lokesh Kanagaraj is an Indian film director who works primarily in the Tamil film industry. He is best known for writing and directing the action-thriller films Maanagaram (2017) and Kaithi (2019). Master (2020) is his upcoming movie starring Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi in prominent roles

Career

In 2016, his short film Kalam was included in the anthology film Aviyal.[4]

In 2017, he made his directorial feature debut with the action-thriller Maanagaram starring Sundeep Kishan, Sri, Regina Cassandra, Madhusudhan Rao, and Charle in the lead roles.[5]

In late 2018, he began working on a film for Dream Warrior Pictures, the same production company behind Maanagaram.[6] With Karthi in the lead role, the action-thriller was titled Kaithi.[7][8][9][10][11][12][13]

He is currently working on an action-thriller Master which has Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles.[14]
