Main sights

  • St. Fruitós church. The current edifice dates to the 17th century, rebuilt in an old Romanesque church-style, of which only a group of pieces of iron in the door remain. It comprises a nave with side chapels and a polygonal apse, with a rectangular gate. Its bell tower is square. The church was sacked in 1638 by Spanish soldiers in retaliation to a revolt in Palafrugell.
  • The Old village is set of traditional architecture, dating to the 17th-19th century. The oldest house dates from 1764, at least, that's what is inscribed in one of its doors.
  • Cemetery (1895), in Neoclassicist style. The writer Josep Pla i Casadevall is buried here.
  • Mas Pla, a 17th-century farmhouse is located in the area of the slurry side of the road C-31, very near to Palafrugell.
  • Manor of Bassa Rocas (16th century). It houses drawings and texts by members of this family, who have made significant cultural contributions to Catalonia and America. After the house remained without tenants, it was converted into a primary school. Later the house became a cultural center having been reopened in 2008.

gollark: PotatOS is free and open source?
gollark: I should ship tape shuffler too!
gollark: And yes, it is very chaotic, potatOS ships two incompatible binary object serialization libraries, its own fork of GPS with dimension/server support, elliptic curve cryptography with SHA256 but also separate non-cryptographically-secure checksums for some reason, and a ton of random programs, some of which are actually just inlined in the code.
gollark: Just delete everything but native APIs and Lua stuff from `_G`, and then reinitialize everything with PotatoBIOS.
gollark: What if I remove all the CraftOS APIs from my programs before they run? WHAT THEN?
