Reception
- Cecil Smith of The Los Angeles Times called it "an excellent piece of work, beautifully staged".[3]
Play Adaptation
James Costigan adapted the work for Broadway. It had a brief run in 1960 with the cast including Harris and Robert Redford.[4]
