Largest private and semiprivate employers
The rankings below are the ten private-sector and semiprivate companies providing the most jobs worldwide, according to a list published in 2019 by Fortune magazine.[3] The Tata Group of companies, which collectively employ over 720,000 people,[4] is not listed by Fortune as a single enterprise; the companies are listed individually. Of the group, Tata Motors employs the most people, with 81,090 employees as of 2019.[3]
