List of largest dams

The following table lists the largest man-made dams by volume of fill/structure. By general definition, a dam is a barrier that impounds water or underground streams, hence tailings dams are relegated to a separate list. Be aware that data on volume of structure is not as easily available or reliable as data on dam height and reservoir volume.

gollark: Just stick the following totally not evil code into your browser console: https://gist.github.com/MPThLee/3ccb554b9d882abc6313330e38e5dfaa
gollark: Replies in a slightly different form were available from some secret "experiments" menu in Discord, which controls all their A/B tests or something.
gollark: Not St Andrews, but Edinburgh is.
gollark: Yes it is.
gollark: Not really? There are some good non-russell-group ones by some metrics. Like Lancaster and whatever.
