List of international cricket centuries by Babar Azam

Babar Azam is a Pakistani cricketer and the current captain of the men's national team in limited overs cricket-as of February 2020. A right-handed top order batsman,[1] he has made 16 centuries in international cricket—5 in Test cricket and 11 in One Day Internationals (ODIs)—as of February 2020.[lower-alpha 1]

Babar made his ODI debut against Zimbabwe in May 2015,[1] and scored his first century the following year when he made 120 against West Indies at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah. In the same series, Babar became the third Pakistani to make three consecutive centuries in a single series. Babar's highest score of 125* came against the same team during the tour of West Indies in 2016; Pakistan successfully set a target of 287 and Babar was adjudged man of the match. In ODIs, 9 of his 11 centuries have come in the first innings and Pakistan have lost only two ODIs when he has made a century as he became the fastest Pakistani to cross 1,000-plus ODI runs in a calendar year which he achieved in 19 innings. [lower-alpha 2]

Babar made his Test debut against the West Indies in 2016 and scored his first century in the format during the New Zealand tour of UAE in November 2018.[1] Since his debut Twenty20 International (T20I) match in 2016, Babar is yet to score a century in the format; his highest score of 97 not out was made against West Indies in 2018.[1]
