History

The club was established in 1962.[2] The club joined Division four of the Hampshire League for the start of the 1975–76 campaign, and were immediately promoted to Division three when they finished third.[3] Further promotion followed in the 1979–80 season, when the top two teams expanded and liss were placed in Division two.[3] The club then remained in Division two for three seasons before leaving the Hampshire league at the end of the 1982–83 season.[4] The club returned to the Hampshire league for the 1987–88 season and was put into Division two.[4] The club remained in Division two until the end of the 1994–95 campaign when they were promoted to Division one as champions.[5]

The club remained in the top division of the Hampshire league until the end of the 2003–04 campaign, after which they joined the newly created Division two of the Wessex League.[5][6] The club remained in that division, which was renamed Division one after two seasons, until the end of the 2007–08 campaign.[6]

The club then left the Wessex League to join the Hampshire Premier League, which had been founded a season earlier.[7] The club has since remained in the Hampshire Premier League despite finishing bottom of the league two seasons in a row in the 2010–11 and 2011–12 competitions.[7]

gollark: Hmm. The website is *not* very specific.
gollark: Micro-LEDs or something? I heard it was possible to make them sort of work now, just for really small panels.

gollark: I read a blog post about someone somehow using VR for work recently.
gollark: Isn't the drugs one actually true, though? The funding models probably need work, but drug discovery is actually insanely expensive nowadays.
