Lena Lattwein

Lena Lattwein (born 2 May 2000) is a German football midfielder, who plays for TSG 1899 Hoffenheim and the Germany national team.

Club career

Lattwein began her career with the JFG Untere Ill and played there until the second half of the 2016/17 season for male youth teams.[1] In February 2017, she came for the women's team of 1. FC Saarbrücken until the end of the season to ten second division operations and scored six goals. In the summer of 2017, she moved to the Frauen-Bundesliga TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, where she initially received a two-year contract.[1] On 2 September 2017, she stood in the 0-6 away defeat against the VfL Wolfsburg immediately in the starting eleven Hoffenheim and thus celebrated her debut in the Bundesliga. The first Bundesliga goal she succeeded on October 15, 2017 (5th matchday) in a 3-0 away win against 1. FC Köln with the gate to the end in the 77th minute. In September 2018, Lattwein extended her contract in Hoffenheim prematurely for one year.[2]

International career

Lattwein made heir debut in the national jersey against Scotland on 30 October 2013 in the 6-0 victory in the U-15 national team against Scotland. In her first two games ending 1: 0 and 3: 0, Lattwein scored her first two goals. In 2016, she participated in a UEFA Development tournament against the teams from the Netherlands, Scotland and France with the U-16 national team, which was able to win a spot on the German team.

On 10 November 2018 she played against Italy her first international match for the senior team over the full season. Previously, she was after the failure of Lena Petermann for the friendly against Austria on 6 October 2018 first appointed to the squad of the national team, came in this game but not yet used.[3]

In addition to her football career, Lattwein studies economics at the University of Mannheim.[1][4]
