History

The building, which was designed by Robert Matthew Johnson Marshall, formed part of the first phase of the intended re-development of the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh[lower-alpha 1] and was built between 1976[2] and 1981.[3] The Edinburgh Dental Institute moved to the building from Chambers Street in 1997.[3] Since the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh moved to Little France in 2001, the building has been used as a centre for outpatient services.[4]

Services

It is used for outpatient services by ear, nose and throat, dermatology and orthopaedic departments.[1]

Notes

gollark: But I only use it for very quick scripting and SSHing into my server for fixes, because æ.
gollark: I have heard of it and use it.
gollark: Why are you doing programming on Android? Stop it.
gollark: This caused problems on my server, which is set to UTC, but *not* on my laptop, which is local time.
gollark: Coincidentally, that other parser supported almost the same syntax for times, except it had broken behavior with time zones.
