Lara Secondary College

Lara Secondary College is a public co-educational secondary school located in Lara, Australia, which shares fences with a local primary school Lara Primary School. Lara secondary college accommodates approximately 900 students from years 7–12. The school officially opened, taking just year 7 students, on the current site in 2003. As of 2008 Lara Secondary College was a complete secondary school having grades from year 7 to 12 attending

At the beginning of the 2012 school year, all of the renovations had been completed and a new more modernistic building had been built for the year 7 and 8 students.

Lara Secondary College has four house teams composed of year 7 to 12's:

  • Hovell (Red)     
  • Flinders (Purple)     
  • You Yangs (Green)     
  • Serendip (Yellow)     

People of note

Mark Anthony attended the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics, for Judo, but was eliminated in the first round. The LYA (Lara Youth Agency) began in 2009, it is a committee of students and teachers which organise events outside of school, the first of these events was the Lara Youth Day on 9 November 2009. Held in Austin Park, Lara.

gollark: I have Notelia, my main one which also seems to have gone socialist because the game seems to like that for some reason, Anrak, where there is literally no law enforcement (but government-provided education if I remember right), and Doemokria, where I do random testing.
gollark: I mostly just answer the issues occasionally on my three nations.
gollark: Also, I use ly (it's in the AUR) as my, er, desktop manager. It's pretty nice, has a neat TUI design.
