Lalova
Lalova is a commune in Rezina District, Moldova. It is composed of three villages: Lalova, Nistreni and Țipova.[2][3]

gollark: What does `checkerpos` do? Why *can't* you just return things from that?
gollark: `pos =` only assigns to the `pos` local variable inside the `checkerpos` function, which I assume is your issue.
gollark: It's generally cleaner to just *return* the new version of something.
gollark: I would generally recommend against global variable use.
gollark: If you get money by making an existing thing better or cheaper that is also good for people.
