L. Murugan
L. Murugan (born 29 May 1977) is an Indian politician from Tamil Nadu, representing the Bharatiya Janata Party.[1] He is the current State Unit President of the Tamil Nadu BJP and Vice-Chairman of National Commission for Scheduled Castes.[2][3] He is was also an active member of the student wing of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).[4]

Early life and education
He was born in 1977, he is a native of Conor next to Paramathi in Namakkal district of Tamil Nadu. He also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Intellectual Property Rights from the Dr. Ambedkar Government Law College, Chennai and a Masters in Law from the University of Madras.[2]
Career
He is a lawyer and he has 15 years experience as a lawyer and is working as a lawyer in the Madras High Court.
Murugan was appointed as President of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Tamil Nadu on 11 March 2020.[5]
