Kuwait at the 2020 Summer Olympics

Kuwait is expected to compete at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Originally scheduled to take place from 24 July to 9 August 2020, the Games have been postponed to 23 July to 8 August 2021, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[1] It will be the nation's thirteenth appearance at the Summer Olympics, although it competed under the Independent Olympic Athletes at the previous Games in 2016, as a result of the country's suspension by the International Olympic Committee due to government interference.
