Kurt Liebrecht
Kurt Liebrecht (born 24 December 1936 in Stendal) is a retired footballer who played as a midfielder.
Club career
Born in Saxony-Anhalt, he played for his hometown team BSG Lokomotive Stendal. He amassed 197 East German top-flight appearances.[1]
Liebrecht earned 16 caps for East Germany.[2] He made his debut for them on 30 October 1960 in a 5–1 friendly win at the Ostseestadion in Rostock. His only international goal came on 21 November 1962 in a 2–1 win over Czechoslovakia at the Walter Ulbricht Stadion, in the preliminary round of qualification for the 1964 European Nations' Cup.[3]
