Krishnakoli

Krishnokoli (Bengali: কৃষ্ণকলি) is a hugely popular Bengali television soap opera that premiered on 18 June 2018 and airs from Monday to Sunday at 7:00 pm on Zee Bangla. It is produced by Tent Cinema and stars Tiyasha Roy and Neel Bhattacharya[1] in lead roles. Susmita Roy Chakraborty, Sarbari Mukherjee, and Rimjhim Mitra play negative roles.[2] It is loosely based on the smash hit Zee TV serial, Saat Phere: Saloni Ka Safar.

Plot

The story revolves around the life of Shyama, who despite being dark skinned, sets out to prove that it doesn't matter what skin colour you might be, she marries Nikhil and thus her journey begins, as she fulfills the seven rounds she took at her marriage. Shyama faces many problems, also discrimination of her skin colour, however she is talented and sets out on a journey, to create an identity for herself. Shayama, a dusky girl who believes that her complexion is akin to Lord Krishna's complexion. Her life changes after marriage and she goes on to make a career in music.
