Kotha Pelli Koothuru
Kotha Pelli Koothuru (transl. Newly Married Bride) is a 1985 Telugu-language drama film, produced by I. Seshu Babu under the Jhansi Pictures banner and directed by K. S. Rami Reddy.[2] It stars Chandra Mohan, Vijayashanti, Rajendra Prasad in the lead roles and music composed by K. V. Mahadevan.[3]

Plot
Dr. Pratap (Haranath) works in the army, leads a happy family life with his wife Janaki (Annapurna) and a baby girl. Once he is seriously injured on the battlefield. Before dying, he reveals a secret to his wife regarding his relationship with a nurse Lakshmi in the camp, both of them have a child too and he takes a promise from Janaki to safeguard them. Janaki reaches their village, by that time Lakshmi is on her deathbed and she is taken care of by her neighbors Veera Swamy (Gollapudi Maruthi Rao) and his wife Parvathi (Ramaprabha). Lakshmi dies, leaving her child as an orphan. Due to fear of society, Janaki makes Veera Swamy as the child's caretaker and gives Rs.1 lakh to his nurture. After some time, with her father Visweswara Rao's (Raavi Kondala Rao) support she decides to get back the child; till then Veera Swamy leaves the village and they are helpless. Years roll by, as Veera Swamy is a devious & materialistic person, he flees with the money given by Janaki and left the child as an orphan. Vijay (Chandra Mohan) a sincere journalist is grown along with his cousin Swapna (Vanitha Sri) who does not like the manipulations of Veera Swamy, so, he quits their house. Sujatha (Vijaya Shanti), daughter of Dr. Pratap likes the ideologies of Vijay and both of them fall in love. Meanwhile, Swapna poses herself as a daughter of a millionaire for false prestige, holding it, Raja (Rajendra Prasad) a petty thief and also partner of Veera Swamy traps her, without knowing her identity when she becomes pregnant. To keep up his honor, Veera Swamy decides to couple up Swapna with Vijay. By the time, Vijay & Sujatha are about to pair up, so, crooked Veera Swamy attributes culpability on Vijay and stops the wedding. Here Janaki recognizes Veera Swamy and asks for their child then he lies that the child is studying abroad. Now Veera Swamy contacts Raja to act as their heir to grab the property. At that point in time, Swapna recognizes Raja where Veera Swamy makes an agreement that he will make his daughter's alliance with him only after succeeding in their plan. Thereafter, Raja enters the house, but Sujatha suspects him and with the help of Vijay she finds out the truth. At present, they play a drama using Raja's father Simhachalam (Kakarala) and brings out the reality. At last, surprising, it is revealed that Raja is the original heir of the family, whom Veera Swamy had given for adoption to Simhachalam before leaving the village. Finally, the movie ends on a happy note with the marriages of Vijay with Sujatha and Raja with Swapna.
