Kodai Mazhai
Kodai Mazhai (transl. Summer Rain) is a 1986 Indian Tamil language film, directed by Muktha S. Sundar and produced by V. Ramasami. The film stars Vidhyasree in lead roles, with Lakshmi, Jaishankar and Sripriya in supporting roles. The film had musical score by Ilaiyaraaja.[1][2]

Production
Parts of Kodai Mazhai were shot in low light, following the introduction of high-speed negative film in India the mid-1980s.[3] It was the feature film debut of Sunitha, who later became known as "Kodai Mazhai Vidya".[4]
Soundtrack
Soundtrack was composed by Ilaiyaraaja and lyrics were by N. Kamarasan, Pulamaipithan and Mu. Mehta.[5] The song "Kaatrodu Kuzhalin" is set in Simhendramadhyamam raga.[6]
