Kim plays on the LPGA of Korea Tour and the LPGA Tour. She has won five times on the LPGA of Korea Tour and nine times on the LPGA Tour. Her win at the 2018 Thornberry Creek LPGA Classic set the record for the lowest 72-hole score (257) and the lowest to-par score (−31).[3] Kim is sponsored by Mirae Asset Financial Group as of December 2019[4].
