History
The station opened as Parkhill on 1 June 1864 by the Inverness and Aberdeen Junction Railway.[1] It was situated north of Delny and south of Nigg station. The name was changed to Kildary on 1 May 1868.[1]
The station had a goods yard to its north west equipped with a 3 ton crane.[2][3] The station was host to a LMS caravan in 1936 and possibly 1937.[4]
The station closed to both passengers and goods traffic on 13 June 1960.[1][5]
gollark: Ah, that's a good one.
gollark: Also, does anyone know of good synonyms for "eldritch"?
gollark: You could also sort trees alphabetically.
gollark: Alternatively, make a COOL OS which allows you to use strings in place of numbers for `sleep` and stuff.
gollark: Doesn't sleepsort just offload the actual sorting to the OS scheduler?
