Kestřany is a village and municipality (obec) in Písek District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It is situated near the confluence of the Otava and Blanice rivers.

Kestřany lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) south-west of Písek, 44 km (27 mi) north-west of České Budějovice, and 95 km (59 mi) south of Prague.

Close to this village is National nature reserve Řežabinec a Řežabinecké tůně.
