Political career

Mosenogi was a senior member of the African National Congress. She was first elected to the league's national executive committee in 2008.[2] She was also a councillor and mayoral committee member for economic development of the Tlokwe Local Municipality, centred around Potchefstroom until the May 2011 municipal elections.[2] The following month, Mosenogi was elected deputy secretary-general of the ANC youth league.[3] She succeeded Steven Nogbeni and served in the position until the league was dissolved in March 2013.[4][5] She was the only woman to serve in the league's national leadership for that term.[2] Thandi Moraka was elected her successor in September 2015.[6]

Provincial government

For the 2019 general election, Mosenogi placed 12th on the ANC's provincial list of candidates for the North West Provincial Legislature. She was elected and took office as a member of the legislature on 22 May 2019. Premier Job Mokgoro announced his new executive on 28 May and appointed Mosenogi as the MEC for the newly established Economic Development, Environment, Conservation and Tourism portfolio.[7] She assumed the office on the same day.[8]
