Kelly Clarkson: Invincible[1] is a forthcoming concert residency by American singer Kelly Clarkson. It was scheduled to premiere on July 29, 2020, at the Zappos Theater, Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas,[2] however, was postponed to 2021, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Background

To compensate on lack of promotional touring of music activity due to her prior commitments on hosting her self-titled variety talk show and mentoring as a coach on The Voice,[3] Clarkson made a surprise announcement on The Kelly Clarkson Show about securing a concert residency at the Zappos Theater in Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Before making the announcement, she performed a selection of her own music catalog during the "Kellyoke" segment of her show, deviating from her usual practice of performing cover versions of audience-selected songs.[4] Live Nation also revealed a that the residency will consist of sixteen dates, spanning from April to September 2020 on four legs, as well as a side-stage bar being constructed inside the theater, similar to the Meaning of Life Tour.[5] On May 1, 2020, Clarkson announced the show's postponement to 2021, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[6]
