Keith Ismael

Keith Ismael (born July 25, 1998) is an American football center for the Washington Football Team of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at San Diego State and was drafted by Washington, then known as the Redskins, in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

College career

Ismael was a three-year starter at San Diego State. He was named second team All-Mountain West Conference as a freshman and to the first team as a sophomore and as a junior. Following the 2019 season, he announced he be foregoing his senior season by entering the 2020 NFL Draft.[1]

Professional career

Ismael was selected by the Washington Football Team in the fifth round, 156th overall, of the 2020 NFL Draft.[2] The Redskins traded offensive tackle Trent Williams to the San Francisco 49ers on draft day to acquire the selection used on him. He signed his four-year rookie contract on July 22, 2020.[3]
