High school career
Thibodeaux played basketball and football at Oaks Christian School. He recorded one hundred fifty-three total tackles, fifty-four sacks, and eight forced fumbles during his career at Oaks Christian School. He was named USA Today's High School Defensive Player of the Year after recording eighteen sacks and fifty-four total tackles in his senior season.[1] He was named the Pac-12's Defensive Freshman of the Year.[2]
Thibodeaux was one of the top recruits in the country and the top recruit in California.
